Michelle Obama takes a swipe at Trump for ending her girls' education program
Michelle Obama just knows how to be classy in all she does, even when it involves calling someone out. The former first lady has shared a photo indirectly letting Trump know that there's no stopping what she has started, even if he succeeds in doing it on an administrative level.
Yesterday, CNN obtained an internal document which revealed that President Donald Trump will discontinue a signature girls' education initiative championed by Michelle Obama when she was the First lady of the United States. The initiative, called "Let Girls Learn" was started by Michelle and Barack Obama in 2015 to facilitate educational opportunities for young girls in developing countries. Hours after CNN reported on the change by the Obama administration, the White House backtracked and said the program had not changed.
Minutes ago, Michelle shared a photo of her with some young girls and her caption looks like it was directed at the Trump administration, almost as though she were saying to them that come what may, her cause for girl child education will continue.
"Excited by the potential of the Obama Pres. Center. Barack & I will continue to champion the issues close to our hearts, including girls ed." she wrote
