Say goodbye to the Galaxy's home button and hello to an infinity display. Samsung ( SSNLF ) unveiled the Galaxy S8 and S8+ at an event in New York on Wednesday. The new phone displays are bigger than the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and they have curved screens that flow onto the sides. The latest tally by Bloomberg's Billionaires Index shows Bezos is now worth about $75.6 billion. Another ranking compiled by Forbes has Bezos' value at "just" $75.2 billion. He added $1.5 billion to his net worth after Amazon ( AMZN , Tech30 ) gained $9 billion in market value during trading hours Wednesday. The company received a generous stock bump after a Barclay's ( AGRPY ) analyst declared Amazon will "likely to be one of the first trillion-dollar market cap companies." Its shares hit a record high shortly after. Amazon's stock has been on fire lately -- it's grown more than 16% over the last year. Investors were pleased with the company's decision, announced yesterday, to buy Souq , an e-commerce giant in the Middle East.

A seven-metre python had to be cut open by local citizens to retrieve a missing man's body. An Indonesian man, who had not been seen since the weekend, was found inside a 23ft (7m)-long python. Villagers on the island of West Sulawesi had the horrific task of cutting open the giant snake's stomach to retrieve the body. Akbar was last seen on Sunday (26 March) before he left to harvest palm oil in the remote village. When his friends and neighbours realised he did not return home by the end of the day, they began searching for him. They eventually reported the matter to the local police, according to Mashura, a spokesperson for the police in West Sulawesi province.
