Davido and his Atlanta based babymama, Amanda, welcomed their child, a girl named Hailey Veronica Adeleke, on May 9th. This is Davido's second daughter and he's excited in his posts describing her beauty on social media.

Lagos, Nigeria-Images of a Nigerian government official cutting hair extensions off two female employees have sparked strong reactions online. Andrew Kumapayi, the sector commander for the Nigerian Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in Rivers State, Nigeria, was reportedly performing a routine inspection of officers' hair and nails on Monday. Two women reportedly were judged to have non-compliant hairstyles. Images of Kumapayi cutting off the extensions with a pair of scissors were posted on the FRSC Rivers State Facebook Page. These have now been deleted, but not before people online got hold of them -- and shared them on several social media sites, including Twitter. Some say the punishment will send a message to other employees.

Borussia Dortmund football team bus hit by explosions

Three explosions have hit a bus carrying the Borussia Dortmund football team to their home Champions League quarter-final match against Monaco. In a press conference, the head of Dortmund police said it was a targeted attack on the team. Spain international Marc Bartra was taken to hospital with an injury to his hand. No other players were hurt. The first indications were that this was an "attack with serious explosives", Dortmund police said. The match was postponed until 18:45 local time (16:45 GMT) on Wednesday. Pictures from the scene showed the bus's windows broken and tyres burst in the blasts. The state prosecutor said that a letter found near the scene was being examined as part of the investigation. Bartra broke a bone in his wrist and had to undergo an operation. Police said that "three explosive charges had detonated" at Hoechsten outside the city at about 19:00 local time. Fans at the 80,000-capacity Signal Iduna Park were told to stay ...

Baby born ‘pregnant’ with his twin

A baby in India was born “pregnant” with his half-formed twin in a rare case that has astonished the medical fraternity in the country. Radiologist Bhavna Thorat said some mass with the presence of bones was discovered early July in the then foetus’ abdomen during a routine scan of the 19-year-old pregnant mother. “In the post-natal scans, we spotted another half-formed baby with a brain, arm and legs in a foetal sac in the baby’s abdomen. “The mother had conceived twins. “But here a twin got enveloped in the body of another twin, leading to a condition of a host baby and its parasitic twin, who grew up to 13 weeks and then stopped. “This was a rare case of foetus-in-foetus, a congenital anomaly in which a malformed and parasitic foetus grows inside the body of a baby,’’ Thorat added.
