Facebook user, Mary Irabo Peipeiraye, took to her page to call out a Port Harcourt based Lebanese man, Ahamd Nasr, who called her a slave and monkey just because she turned him down. Posting screenshots of their Whatsapp messages, Mary wrote; "This white stunk devil ( Ahmad Nasr) called me a Slave and a Monkey but he has the guts to feed from my country.If I don't gain anything from this country atleast I deserve some RESPECT as a woman." Nigerian official gives haircuts, sparks outrage

Lagos, Nigeria-Images of a Nigerian government official cutting hair extensions off two female employees have sparked strong reactions online. Andrew Kumapayi, the sector commander for the Nigerian Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in Rivers State, Nigeria, was reportedly performing a routine inspection of officers' hair and nails on Monday. Two women reportedly were judged to have non-compliant hairstyles. Images of Kumapayi cutting off the extensions with a pair of scissors were posted on the FRSC Rivers State Facebook Page. These have now been deleted, but not before people online got hold of them -- and shared them on several social media sites, including Twitter. Some say the punishment will send a message to other employees.

Borussia Dortmund football team bus hit by explosions

Three explosions have hit a bus carrying the Borussia Dortmund football team to their home Champions League quarter-final match against Monaco. In a press conference, the head of Dortmund police said it was a targeted attack on the team. Spain international Marc Bartra was taken to hospital with an injury to his hand. No other players were hurt. The first indications were that this was an "attack with serious explosives", Dortmund police said. The match was postponed until 18:45 local time (16:45 GMT) on Wednesday. Pictures from the scene showed the bus's windows broken and tyres burst in the blasts. The state prosecutor said that a letter found near the scene was being examined as part of the investigation. Bartra broke a bone in his wrist and had to undergo an operation. Police said that "three explosive charges had detonated" at Hoechsten outside the city at about 19:00 local time. Fans at the 80,000-capacity Signal Iduna Park were told to stay ...
